One Minute of Fame is packed with recognizable music from different genres and eras. From sing-alongs and classics to modern hits—there’s something for everyone.

These are the Local Heroes cards. The flag in the top left corner shows which country the hits come from, and the corresponding theme is listed at the bottom of the card. Don’t want to play with these cards? Simply remove them from the game.

Anyone can be the DJ. Decide beforehand how you want to play: the other team is the DJ and your team guesses, within your own team you take turns being the DJ while the other teammate guesses, or you appoint one person as the fixed DJ for the entire game. This player does not belong to a team.

No, One Minute of Fame cannot be played without the app. The app is required for the music and the flow of the game.

The app works on most modern iOS and Android phones. Your phone must have a working speaker and an active internet connection.

We officially support phones only. On some tablets, phone apps can be installed. You can try this, but functionality may not be optimal.

Partially. A standard Bluetooth speaker or a speaker with AirPlay usually works without issues. Google Chromecast and Apple TV are not supported, as they may interfere with the audio. Tip: test the connection beforehand to be sure.

An internet connection is required to play music, ensure the app functions properly, and load updates or content.

When starting the app, you can choose to play One Minute of Fame with or without Spotify. You do not need a Spotify account to use the app—the music is played automatically through the app. If you do have Spotify, you can skip tracks. If you play without Spotify, you will hear shorter demo clips of the hits.
